How much does a golf course website cost?
Across the market, most public courses pay $5,000–$15,000 for a professional mobile-first website (Giraffix Golf's published tiers), with productised services from about $1,000 setup + $250/mo. Turnpike's prices: $1,950–$9,500 to build depending on course size, $4,950 for a standard 18-hole course, plus $249–$649/mo for care. The full table is in Pricing, above.
Do you replace foreUP or GolfNow?
No. We build the website; your tee sheet and POS stay exactly as they are. The website's job is to send golfers to your booking page in one tap. Keep GolfNow if it works for you. A good website simply makes the direct booking, where you keep the whole fee and the golfer's email, the easiest option.
Who owns our domain and our website?
Your course does. The domain is registered to your business, in a registrar account you control, even if we pay for it during a rescue, a signed one-pager says we hold it for you and transfer it into your account immediately. If somebody else's name is on your domain today, fixing that is step one, before any design work.
Our domain expired, or our old web guy has it. Can you get it back?
Often, yes. Within about 30 days of deletion it can usually be restored for a redemption fee (typically $80–$200 plus renewal). After that it depends on who caught it and which of the five cases you're in: all five are laid out in the Domain Rescue section. Send us the domain and the free audit will tell you which case you're in.
How long does it take to launch?
Rescue sites for small courses: 14 days. A standard 18-hole build: 4–6 weeks, depending on photos, content and your approvals. Nothing launches without your written sign-off.
Is this a template?
No. Every course gets its own design, photography, layout and copy. What is standardised is everything you can't see: the build system, the booking integration, the security and backup routine, and the monthly checks. Standard plumbing, custom house.
Can we update the site ourselves?
Yes: rates, events and the conditions line are simple form fields your staff can edit without touching the design. And if you'd rather never think about it, updates are included in every care plan: send us the change, we make it.
Will a new website get us more tee times?
No honest vendor can promise a number. The maths of why courses do it: a handful of extra direct bookings a week at $45–$70 a round is $7,000–$18,000 a year (Giraffix's published worked example), and direct bookings also keep the golfer's email on your list instead of a marketplace's. Our monthly report tracks direct bookings specifically, so you'll see whether it's working.
We're not in New Jersey. Do you work with us?
Yes. Turnpike Tech is rooted in New Jersey, the 141-course audit is our home turf, and builds for public courses across the US. The audit, design and build all happen remotely; photo days are arranged with a licensed local operator.
What exactly do we get for the social media price?
Three posts a week (12–13 a month) on Facebook and Instagram: calendar planned a month ahead, captions written, graphics designed, everything scheduled, plus Google Business Profile posts and same-day Stories from phone clips your crew shoots in about 10 minutes a week. Social alone is $399/mo for small and standard courses, $599/mo for large and multi-course. Agencies outside golf typically charge $1,000–$2,000/mo for comparable management. Ours costs less because the calendar and content types repeat across one industry, not because anything is skipped.
What exactly do we get for the email price?
Your e-club and birthday club set up, your existing booking-system list cleaned and segmented, 2 campaigns a month written, designed and sent for you (up to 4 on Large), and the automations (welcome, birthday, lapsed-golfer win-back, outing follow-up, gift-card reminders) set up to run on their own. Email is $299/mo standalone ($449 Large), or just +$150/mo if you're already on a website Care plan. Every send is reported against direct bookings.
Why bundle social and email together?
Because they feed each other: social grows the audience, the e-club captures it, and email turns it into bookings you can count. Bought separately, social + email is $698/mo at standard size; the Marketing Engine bundle is $649/mo: $499/mo Simple, $899/mo Large. With standard website Care ($399/mo), the full stack is $1,048/mo with everything handled. The full breakdown table is in Pricing, above.
What if we already have a website we like?
Then keep it, and take the Megaphone on its own. Most courses we audited are collecting golfer emails through their booking system and never sending a single campaign, and their Facebook page hasn't been posted to in months. Social and email, done for you, is available standalone from $299/mo, with no website rebuild required.
