Privacy Policy.
Effective October 9, 2026. Plain-English version of how we handle your information.
What we collect
When you talk to us, through our contact form, email, or by becoming a client, we collect the basics: your name, business name, phone number, email address, and whatever details you share about your business (trade, service area, pricing). If you use our system as a contractor client, we also handle the messages your customers send to your business number: their phone numbers and the content of those conversations, so the system can answer, book, and follow up.
How we use it
We use this information to run the service: answering your customers' calls and texts, booking jobs, sending quote follow-ups and review requests you've approved, and keeping you posted on your own account. We don't sell your data. We don't use it for anything outside operating and improving the service you signed up for.
SMS consent and mobile data
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent is never shared with any third parties.
When you or your customers opt in to text messaging, by calling or texting your business first, requesting a quote, or booking a job, that consent applies only to messages about that business relationship: missed-call replies, appointment confirmations and reminders, quote follow-ups, and review requests. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out at any time, reply STOP. For help, reply HELP. Opt-out requests are honored promptly.
Who sees your data
Beyond what we've said above about SMS data, information is shared only with the infrastructure providers we need to run the service (hosting, messaging delivery, payment processing), and only the minimum they need to do their job. We don't share, rent, or sell personal information to data brokers or advertisers. If we're ever required to disclose information by law, we'll do so only to the extent required.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, encrypted connections, access controls, and limited internal access, to protect the information we handle. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your customers' data like it's our own shop's data, because it basically is.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after a change means you're fine with it.
